Argumentative Essay: The Banning Of Animal Captivity

Imagine being held in a prison where someone commands you, does experiments on you, and have no way out back to your family. Some animals go through this, which is called animal captivity. Animal captivity happens every day, whether you know it or not. Banning animal captivity prevents animals from suffering mentally, emotionally, and deprivation from freedom. Animals have brains like us, therefore they have emotions, thoughts and a sense of freedom. Every day, animals are separated from their families. Due to this loss, they feel depressed and infuriated. Each year, these attractions increase in popularity. These numbers would go down if the main reason why tourists go doesn't exist any longer. In America, very few laws are in action but protects only a few animals. Reptiles, birds, mice and animals used in a farm aren't protected. And even those that are protected, they are still in captivity, or in research labs. They can even be seen in circus, acting to a human’s command, being whipped and punished. These animals aren’t taken away, nor gives the company a charge for capturing and enslaving wild animals. The Animal Welfare Act does not acknowledge this either, and see it as fair and safe. The fact that animals captive by the government and that such acts are in place is not something you see in television every day. People do not think of this as a major problem, but some of those animals helps our major food sources provide us with enough food. For example: if they capture all bees, we wouldn’t even have crops to eat. The whole food web that follows
