GUN CONTROL Do you think we should have more gun control? My answer is yes, the world is full of idiots that have no common sense. With all the shootings and mass chaos happening in our society, we need to regulate our gun laws. I think we should not let the citizens who have ever commited a crime and who have received a felony for their crime should not have access or the right to own or possess a fire arm. The Second Amendment, which says: “A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.” gun-control.procon.org The Second Amendment protects an individual’s right to own guns, they say that guns are needed for self-defense for things such as thieves breaking and entering to your home, protecting your loved ones, and for self-defense. There has been talk about the government just taking our guns away but personally, I do not think they should take our guns away. For example, what if there is a single mother and 2 of her babies are by there-selves in their home and late at night a robber breaks in and the mom sees that he has a gun? What is she going to do? Absolutely nothing if they completely take our guns away! So in my opinion I think the gun laws should be altered some but not completely taken away. gun-control.procon.org …show more content…

The police cannot protect everyone.
