Argumentative Essay: Should Video Games Be A Sport?

Do you play video games? If so you might agree that video games should be a sport, if not I have lots of reasons why it should, like how it has so many followers tournaments can have the same or even higher turnout than a sports game.

I am writing this essay because gaming is a hobby of mine and i would like to see it become a sport. Because having it a sport could help expand the community and increase reasons to play. Video games should be a sport here's why.
There are lots of reasons why gaming should be a sport but one of them is that the government classified a professional gamer as an athlete! A korean professional gamer got a visa that is specifically for Athletes That come to america for competitions.
