Some might asked why do people kill for fun? Why travel so far or pay so much to trophy hunt? Scoring a big kill for show is what they call trophy hunting. The whole process of these hunts have negative effects on the animals from the time they are born. For example, when cubs are first born they are taken from their mother, put in different types of tourist attraction, then when they reach a certain age they are placed in a canned hunt. The mother of these cubs becomes unhealthy, weak, and frail because she is forced to produce two litters a year, which is not the normal. All because of this “fun” game and experience, that always has the same outcome, the animal undergoes an agonizing death, psychological and physical damage is done as well. These hunts are inhumane and need to be…

Trophy hunting is basically enforcing that it is fine for humans to get injured or killed. Similar to Gibson’s scenario, trophy hunter Owain Lewis was also killed during his attempt to kill a dangerous animal. An article by The Telegraph describes Lewis’s death, “[he] had been caught unaware when the buffalo charged from the undergrowth and tossed him in the air” (Laing 1). In the article it is mentioned that the buffalo was “shot and injured”, but even then, it was physically more powerful than a hunter with a highly powerful weapon. This shows that no matter how prepared and safe you think your plan is, trophy hunting is still extremely…

Others would argue that the negative of trophy hunting is poaching. Evidence shows that money from trophy hunting isn’t helping endangered species mostly because of poachers, which could mean that hunting regulations aren't being held and over 75 percent of these certain animals could be extinct! Since an incident of the killing a lion named Cecil from Zimbabwe was killed many people now call it poaching, but in this case the lion went out of the safe zone that they had for him, it was then killed. So in many cases people have the permits to kill certain animals but others that do not will illegally shoot some animals just to kill, which causes major disagreement all around the world. But in other ways we still have many poachers all around the world which affects the animal's population all around us.…

Poaching, and other forms of animal cruelty, should be illegal in all parts of the world. To completely get rid of animal injustice, we need to focus more on hunting and abuse, the state of enclosures, and habitat reduction. Hunting is still the way a lot of people produce food for themselves and families, but it also a form of recreation, a form of population control, and even a sport for others. There are many anti-hunting groups and others that share the strong opinion that hunting is both cruel, unethical, and detrimental to wild game species populations. These groups are constantly pushing for the bans of this “blood sport”. However, this is simply not a factual argument and little scientific data, if any, supports these claims. In the remainder of this paper the facts that support ethical hunting will be examined,…

Trophy hunting has been around for many years. The issue with trophy hunting has been an ongoing argument on whether they should ban the “sport” or if they should leave it the way it is. Trophy hunting should be illegal because it is morally wrong, wasteful, and kills off endangered species. It is morally wrong because they are killing these animals for the sport of it. Trophy hunting is wasteful because they don’t use the entire animal's body.…

Many species have been hunted to extinction or to the point where they are critically endangered. There were millions of bison in the great plains of North America; hunting was so intense that only a few hundred were left by the time the animals became protected. Besides for food, animals are also hunted down for their body parts, such as their fur or feathers, skins and horns. One example is the African elephant that is heavily hunted for its ivory tusks. Hunters are killing the righteous animals, cutting off their tusks and leaving the elephants there to rot and die, just to get money from merchants.…
