Tobacco Should be Illegal Tobacco is an agricultural plant that has been around for over thousands of years and is still widely used to this day. It is also classified as a stimulant drug that makes the central nervous system work faster than usual. In order to deny the spread of tobacco usage, scientists have been warning the public about the dangers of using the stimulant drug. The reason for them to do so is, because in The United States tobacco kills more Americans than alcohol, cocaine, crack, heroin, homicide, suicide, accidents, fires, and AIDS combined. Due to the fact that, the use of tobacco has been linked to depression, those who smoke tend to have low self esteem according to the World Health Organization, because they rely on smoking to cope depression or anxiety. On the contrary, those who do not smoke have higher self esteem and confidence that allows them to live a more healthier life. With this in mind, it is certain to understand that the immediate and long term impact of smoking play a key role on lack of social interactions.
