The minimum driving age should not be raised because crashes that they thought they were preventing are occurring two years later. Dr. Masten from informational article states, “In facts 75 percent of fatal crashes we thought we were saving actually just occurred two year later. Its shocking. “So, age raising did not prevent a crash it actually just delayed it by two years. A study in the journal of clinical sleep Medicine this year found that teenagers who started school earlier in the morning had higher crash rates.” This is pushing aside differences and showing that some of these fatal crashes are caused by lack of sleep.
