With school shootings popping up out of thin air the argument of if teachers should be armed with weapons is a hot topic. Laws shouldn’t change to allow teachers to be armed with weapons. The first of many reasons is because students could feel unsafe, or fearful with a gun being near them. Maybe even because they feel the teacher dislikes them that the person would snap one day, and do something that should never transpire. With a student feeling in an unsafe environment they would tend to be more distracted making them not as focused as much on what they are learning. Which in turn ends up lowering the student's grade for not feeling safe which would be out of their control. The second reason is that somebody else could get ahold of the gun.
