For many Americans college is a route that many want to take. Under the current higher education system it is the responsibility of the students and the parent to pay for their education. For some students and families, they simply can’t afford school. Some people will try and work for a while to save up money for college, this often happens and then circumstances happen and they never enroll to attend a higher education institution. Also, many drop out due to financial hardship with school. This doesn’t give a fair shot a trying to earn them a better quality of life. This is the problem with not having tuition free college.
