Should child soldiers be given Amnesty?
Child soldiers are victims and be should given amnesty because they are forced to kill even drugged to think that killing is ok, even know it’s not. They are also so young they are taken advantage of. Some of them should not be granted amnesty because they chose to be in the army so they basically chose to kill. But with the evidence below child soldiers are victims. They are victims because they were forced into being a soldier. Usually people volunteer to go into the army (some of the children, even wanted to be a soldier and that these ones should be charged for their crimes) and you have to be of age. Who would do this to children who are ages 9 and above, that changes their childhood they will be traumatized for the rest of their life even if they live. These children are drugged so much that they think that killing is ok, they go back to rehab and they start to remember and feel emotions about what they did, they must of been so sad and angry at the people that drugged them and made them do that stuff. They should be given amnesty because they are taken advantage of and they are impressionable and can be manipulated very easily. Because they are children they don’t complain and they listen. They don’t expect to be paid. They are taken advantage of because are taught that this is right so they don’t know that they are doing something wrong, how would they know. For example they could say it’s a game and not know that you're actually killing someone. Since they are so young they basically follow any commands that adults give them and they would think it’s right because usually adults are right.
