Security cameras come up showing somebody lying down on a chair and strapped down giving more suspense build up and giving you more questions. You see a boy standing in front of the door, the door creaks open by itself and you see the monster in the sky surrounded by reddish storm clouds giving you a hint on what and/or who they will be facing in the next season. Then the name of the show and where to watch it (netflix) appears on screen.
This ad is directed towards young adults/ adults. It appeals to adults who were raised to the 80’s, young adults (13-18) could like how people their age are facing adult\dangerous problems. Kids wouldnt really like it since there's not bright colors, there not from that time so they won't get references and they might think it's scary. It could be appealing because of the mystery, suspense, and ominous feeling. This ad used ethos and pathos.
