Satellite dish violations are simply matters of enforcement. According to the covenant, Satellite dishes are prohibited. Hence, it is incumbent upon us as board member to non-selectively execute the spirit of the governing documents and ,therefore, treat satellite dish violations like any other violations.
Nevertheless, I understand that we all have a personal stake in this matter for the mere fact that we are all homeowners. Barring having to grandfather this matter and having to rewrite the covenant, I move that satellite dish owners have the following options to abate:
A. Owner removes the satellite dish at owner's expense within 30 days following notice of violation. (I owner bears the expense because he willing/unknowing violated or purchased a home with a preexisting dish.)
