Do you believe in heroes? I believe in them. Heroes, to me at least, are people who are kind, caring, and help when needed. One example of a hero like that is Abraham Lincoln. I hope that you will believe that heroes do exist if you don’t already! One reason I believe Abraham Lincoln is very famous for being a hero is because he stopped slavery permanently. He was a hero to everyone who was enslaved. He supported stopping slavery because it was wrong. In 1846, he served in the House of Representatives for 1 term. This is where he started to ban slavery. According to a video called Abraham Lincoln on Brainpop, when he was president, he almost stopped slavery by passing his “Emancipation Proclamation”
