Many people always debate on the definition of what exactly is an American. This is a controversial question that unfortunately does not have a concrete answer. An American in 2015 is a human being living in the United States of America who wishes to fulfil their obligations to live in an American society. An American I somebody who knows the struggles of our past history and has a desire to never let it occur again. In earlier ages you were considered an American if you were a Caucasian male. The Bill of Rights guaranteed citizens of the United States natural rights. These rights are rights that the government may not remove from your possession.
