In this day and age, most people only know VR to be used for one thing; video games. While that is the main usage for this technology right now, there is still a wide range of opportunities that could be explored with this system. The medical field has huge opportunity. The eight patients part of the Walk Again Project have all been under going a treatment that starts with putting on the VR headset then, quite literally, stepping into another world. This world creates an image that looks like the patient is standing. Along with the headset, the patient must wear 32 electrodes on their head and a metal exoskeleton attached to their whole body.
