Visible light is beautiful most of the time. But visible light can also be dangerous, if used in irresponsible ways. A tool most people don’t think of as being dangerous is a laser pointer. Laser pointer’s lights are not found in nature, they are artificial. The light is made by a battery which powers a small diode. The diode is a small machine in laser pointers with When it is dark outside, your eyes become wider, as to let in more light. Your eyes act like a lense, letting in how much light they want to let in. But, if a bright light is strobed or flashed onto the eyes it can damage the retina. From short range it can cause irreversible eye damage, and from farther it can be a major distraction and can disorientate depending on the brightness. Although it isn’t fully ready, it might cost some more money to get it tested, and it doesn’t block out all attacks but it is still very good. This is because mainly that nothing is really out there as far as a solution. The governments are more into prevention, instead of protection. Which is another way to look at it, but honestly if their goal is to distract a pilot, and it no longer distracts them, they will stop and there will be no more attacks. Also the other reasons of cost efficiency and the fact it blocks out most attacks give it enough support to make it an effective economic and social solution. This is because if it doesn’t cost much money, obviously it's effective as far as cost goes. And if this does get implemented in planes, then people won’t also want to attack the planes as there is no point. This not only protects the pilots, but psychologically affects the would be attackers, discouraging them from even attacking in the first place and thus keeping them away from jail time or fines.
