“ it has been concluded by The American Psychological Association that when children watch violence on TV it makes them less aware of the suffering of others, more fearful of the world they live in and more likely to harm the people around them.” ( Ben Orlando, n.d ). Violence on television has existed for the past 40 years or so and still no solution to its limit has been found. The effects of media and television networks remain to be a topic of public controversy today. Networks play an important role in our everyday lives, for as it serve as a major source of information and entertainment. However; the effects of the material viewed on networks has prevailed have been negative in many aspects, thus affecting its users character and personality.

I think teenagers usually take things for granted and are actually much more eager to things and easily swayed to do and try things they’ve seen on television networks and media. It is also more difficult to teach teenagers to stop rather than infants. Teenagers like to have a certain celebrity or character to idolize, which leads to them following every single step this “idol” takes: such as being violent.
