In the world of Seahaven the producers and creators did anything to keep Truman in Seahaven. Including newspapers, with the most to the point headlines. Like when Truman showed signs of wanting to leave they came up with a headline that said The Best Place on Earth: Seahaven voted the world’s top town. Truman was trying to leave Seahaven to go find Sylvia in Fiji, who was an actor who tried to tell him the truth and Truman fell in love with her. Someone overheard him or they tapped the phone lines and then his office neighbor popped up with the newspaper headline. Then Truman told Marlon, “Just between you and me, I’m going away for awhile.” and the next day the papers popped up with the headline that says Who Needs Europe? Then a couple days later Truman is walking to work and he recognizes a guy and he stops to talk to the guy. The guy is in dirty clothes, like he is homeless. Harry S. Truman was born on May 8, 1884, in Lamar, Missouri, the oldest child of John Anderson Truman (1851–1914) and Martha Ellen Young Truman (1852–1947). His parents chose the name Harry after his mother's brother, Harrison "Harry" Young (1846–1916).[5] They chose "S" as his middle initial to please both of his grandfathers, Anderson Shipp Truman and Solomon Young. The "S" did not stand for anything in particular,[6][7] but was regularly written followed by a period. A brother, John Vivian (1886–1965), was born soon after Harry, followed by sister Mary Jane (1889–1978).[8] John Truman was a farmer and livestock dealer.…

Truman had almost no privacy, very little freedom, and was psychologically abused. It is obvious that Truman did not enjoy his constant surveillance because one of the only views he shared Christof was, "You never had a camera in my head.". The only privacy Truman had was his thoughts, which made him feel incredibly violated and drew him to insanity. The production chose "to manufacture ways to keep Truman in Seahaven" by psychologically torturing and playing mind games with him. As the days went on, Truman became exhausted by constant traumatic experiences, paranoia, and fear.…

It became an outburst of Captain Keys anger and resentment for his flight crew and he could not believe they would act in such a way.
