This could possibly be life changing in some people that have no hope of living other wise. The U.S. food and Drug Administration will never put this into the marketable stage. There are too many legal and ethical issues to do that. The relatives always have the right to information, well blood relatives anyway even though there all suppose to be confidential. However if they did test the children and found out that they would eventually get a disease years later down the road I would wait to tell them. It could possible make the outcome of their lives a lot different; if it’s a teenager they might think why should I go to college; get a degree, if I’m just going to die soon? To them family might say; you don’t want to be remembered like that you should be all you can be.
