People will try and make peace with each other but one of the group betrays the other in a massive power struggle over land that a year ago belonged just to the grounders. Some of the characters have shown a passion for battle while others have grown and evolved from their aggressive thinking and realized that for each group to survive they must do it as one. As they reach peace finally, a hot headed aggressive big shot takes over and decides to start war again. You get attached to the character because as the show progresses you start to get feel towards which character you would most likely be like and what you would do in their different situations. Along with that, it’s a show that your feelings are always changing and evolving for different characters. The definition of media is any format or platform that carries, presents, or communicates information, so everything surrounding us would be considered media. A certain type of media that I will relate back to sociology would be a television show titled One Tree Hill. The show itself, is centered around two half-brothers and how one is considered an outcast, Lucas and the other is considered royalty, Nathan. When Lucas makes the basketball team, Nathan isn't exactly his greatest fan in fact Lucas goes through a round of bullying before he is finally accepted onto the team.…

They all have nothing but positive feedback about the school and it’s environment. They all went on to exceptional colleges after Archbishop Williams High School. I also have a friend who went to Archbishop Williams in eighth grade two years ago when it was first offered.…

Not many 226 year old documents are as important as this one. In fact, not many documents of that age have caused as many arguments. Not only does the document cause arguments, it’s very important in our nation, The United States of America, and misinterpreting this 226 year old document will cause our country to go down the wrong path. You would think that it wouldn’t be that hard to interpret a 226 year old document, but the 2nd Amendment has caused us much trouble. The main portion of the 2nd Amendment reads “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”…

Socially acceptable behaviors are what we call societal norms. A few examples of these are things like saying please and thank you, stopping at a red light, and brushing your teeth before bed. So essentially socially acceptable behaviors are something our society has deemed “appropriate” over time. Now, today things are different than they were back then, some leniency has been shown, but quite a few of societal norms are exactly the norms back then as well. In this essay, I will be talking about showing sexual content on TV and public display of affection.…
