Both the teen parent’s and the child’s life can be affected. Teen mothers are less likely to receive prenatal care, and their children are more likely to be born prematurely, have low-birth weight, and die in infancy. Children of teen mothers are more likely to have poor health and struggle in school than children born to older mothers. They are more likely to come in contact with the child welfare and criminal justice systems, live in poverty, drop out of high school and become teen parents themselves. In addition, pregnant teens, particularly younger ones, may be more susceptible to negative health factors and be affected by pregnancy related complications…

If the teenager was raped, I believe that is an acception to have an abortion. Teen abortion can be a very sensitive subject, especially if the teen and parents are going through it, not sure on what to do. Many teens decide wether to tell a parent or not, many teens decide not to because they are afraid on what their parents will do. " May 14- Austin- House Republicans approved a bill late Wednesday that would restrict minors seeking legal bypass to get an abortion without parental consent". I think it is up to the teen to tell the parent if they want to get an abortion, unless the parents are abusive or negligent.…

Abortion can make someone’s life or break someone’s life. This is something that in my opinion is a very misinterpreted thing in such a way which is very wrong. I chose the topic to research what effect that pregnancy has on teenagers, their families and the people around them. Especially wanted to focus on the teenage girl and the decisions she has to make when she finds out she is pregnant. Teen parents are put into little stereotypes based on what people think they know about them, or what they have heard. I chose this topic because two of my sisters were teen parents, my other sister chose abortion and a lot of my friends got pregnant at a young age.…

Abortion should be a part of a country’s contraception policy. People should plan their families and society must allow women to end unwanted pregnancies in order to deal with failures of birth control, cases of rape and cases of incest. Abortion should be legalized but discouraged. Legal, because it is a choice; discouraged because there are other more effective ways to prevent pregnancy than abortion. Abortion is all about allowing a woman to make her own decisions, in relation to her age, financial stability, relationship stability, and mental and physical capabilities.…
