The key aspect discussed in this essay is finding out how to cure blind people with stem cell therapy. There are many diseases that can be treated using stem cell therapy, for example Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, heart disease, stroke, arthritis, diabetes, burns and spinal cord damage. I have specifically chosen blindness, since I know that it is not easy to treat and cure blindness . Your eyes and, brain have a very important function for seeing. The eye is made up of many different parts, which include the cornea, iris, lens, and retina. All these parts work together to focus on light and images. The treatment process works by replacing the cells in the eye known as retinal cells that have been damaged or worn out from diseases such as muscular degeneration. For the elderly, specifically, macular degeneration is a common condition that leads to a loss of vision in one or both eyes. Muscular degeneration really only happens to elderly. This is the most common condition that leads to blindness in those people who lose their eyesight due to diabetes.
