Those workers with master’s degrees deserve the raises that come with those positions but those who have devoted their lives to the community they are in also deserve those higher raises and pay scales because sometime experience can be better than just education. Those who have achieved their bachelor 's degrees may not be hired on with a salary that is enough to pay back the student loans they have acquired. These workers are there to help their community and the people they serve, but may not even be able to serve themselves. Those with master 's degrees may be in even more of a financial hardship because a high educational achievement like that traditionally costs more money than just a bachelor 's. They may have to encounter clients who are rude, disorderly, or even mentally handicapped. They must be able to quickly and efficiently handle situations and deal with confrontation appropriately so that no further conflict arises. Too often the citizens who unfortunately live in poverty are immediately judged by appearance or a preconceived idea that they are burdens to society or that they may be doing drugs.
