Every thing people love to do is changing. Many people who love cars and love to drive cars. Because they’re enjoyable. Even things such as running to the store or doing as a family would change. And many people wouldn’t be able to afford the cars because the self driving systems are expensive and i’d expect that the insurance would go up. And people wouldn't like to not be able to drive and enjoy it. I don’t think a lot of people will be happy with it. Many people like to watch motorsports and the self driving car would completely change the sport entirely. And they should have the choice for drivers to drive or not. I can understand that at times it’s very annoying and tiring to drive so if the driver had the choice I think it would be great to have that choice. The reaction times would need to be great on the car because with traveling at great speeds and something breaks on a car anything could happen. I feel that

The reason I decided to explore this article is because there have been several accidents that involve a self driving vehicle and also because some people might think that they are "safe" and "dependable". Also because is this really what we are now as humans? A race that depends on technology more than our own brain the most outstanding and powerful weapon in the world? Also far will we go with this? To the point we will never have to get out of bed, never have to work/fix things on our own.…

Some of the limitations of this article include the background of the author and the perspective she brings to the topic. For example, it can be inferred that because the author is a female, being behind the wheel of a car gives her a sense of empowerment that would be taken away with the future of self-driving vehicles. If this article had been written by a man, the perspective might change because of male standings in society. There is also the issue of the author only addressing one brand of vehicles instead of multiple, such as Ford, Chevrolet, or Audi. The information provided might vary based on the specific companies involved in the future of self-driving cars.…

Usually, when people hear the words self-driving car they instantly think of the future. It’s pretty hard to think what the downsides of getting where you need to go, without doing any work whatsoever, could be, but you’d be surprised how big one of the reasons this wouldn't work actually is. There is a moral problem that comes with the inviolability of the self-driving car. One great thing that self-driving cars promise is the improved safety and minimization of most problems that may occur on the road and although I can’t argue that this won't happens there is something that most people don’t know. There is a scenario, you are being driven down the highway in your car with a truck ahead of you, an SUV to your right, and a motorcycle to your…

In the case of any accidents, lawyers could blame the car manufacturers for the way they "programmed morality into the machine." (Jun). The deontologists would ask if it was morally wrong to put the program and machine driving around if someone were harmed because they can’t think and are not human. We don’t sue trains when they hit human beings because trains cannot think like humans or have morality like humans. However, this article also explains the benefits of having a self-driving car that initially hooked in consumers because it sounded like the “right” means of transportation.…

From this Tesla case, I cannot find out an appropriate law in charge of such traffic accident liability. Since all the evidences shows that autopilot system was turning on when driving the Model S, no legal provision can be used clearly to judge which position has the major responsibility in this traffic accident. In contrast, Florida could be one of the most important state to legalize the automatic car since it is the first state to pass such laws. According to Florida law, (F.S. §316.86) “any person with a valid driver’s license may operate an autonomous vehicle. This provision places responsibility on the person who puts the vehicle into autonomous mode.”…

Obviously, this would be a dream come true as the thought of not needing to put your hands on the steering wheel is unbelievable. Imagine this, Golden Retrievers can now relax in the backseat of a car and have a nice steak buffet with their owner. Moreover, if an age limit wasn’t a requirement to drive, don’t be shocked at the sight of seeing kids and maybe infants grooving alone in a vehicle that drives itself to a candy store (is this still a thing?) or Chuck-E-Cheese. Additionally, the laws of getting caught for drinking and driving would be invalid as the person is not technically driving a car! The possibilities of what a self-driving car offers would be endless.…

Old things are always in good repute, present things in disfavor once said Tacitus. This quote shows just how great old and standard things can be such as being able to drive a car instead of being driven. Even if this technology is still currently limited, in a few years there may not even be a word known as a driver. Cars with drivers are what makes a car a car not cars without drivers.…
