Both of these passages talk about cars driving by themselves without hardly any human interaction that has to do with driving themselves. They also talk about the dangers of a self-driving car because the vehicle couldn’t tell the difference between a piece of paper floating around in the wind and a person. There is also mentioned that these cars will not overlook a law even if overlooking that law means crossing the double yellow line to save a person’s life. I also think that they mentioned that technology is never perfect, moreso, for a self-driving car because the computers that run them are going to be exposed to extreme heat and extreme cold and they will be put through a lot more stress than the computer that you use in your office everyday. These cars are not going to be safe because they are going to fail at some point in time and a lot more often than a computer at home because the computer in the car that runs it could be sitting outside in 20 degree weather and go from 20 degrees to 112 degrees or more in just a few minutes and computers like that are not used to going from that cold to that hot or hotter that
