Today’s society is gradually changing to that of convenience, which is largely built on the use of modern technology. In the article, “Self-Driving Cars Could Save 300,000 Lives Per Decade in America,” by Adrianne LaFrance, published in The Atlantic. Adrianne LaFrance indicates, “Researchers estimate that driverless cars could, by midcentury, reduce traffic fatalities by up to 90 percent.” Despite this information people are having mixed feelings about the self-driving car. From having live GPS Navigation, Bluetooth Enabled Technology, having sensors that indicate when a driver is too close to another car, backup cameras when reversing out of parking spots for safety, to having the ability to give basic responses and commands to our cars.
