American's Right to Bear Arms
As a twenty something American myself, I have seen quite a few serious issues growing up in this great nation we call home. We have a growing amount of poor and homeless people whom are unable to find any kind of employment or medical help that they so badly need. Our country is experiencing quickly rising expansion rates, an out of control unbalanced budget, and a major problem with misuse of firearms. The Brady law, which was passed in February 1994, was a good step towards keeping firearms out of the wrong hands. The law was named after Jim Brady, who was shot and disabled during an assassination attempt on President Ronald Reagan in 1981. This law requires a background check on any individual trying to purchase a firearm legally. This allows
