Argumentative Essay On Pro Life

The argument I selected is abortion, a historical subject that has issues dating back for hundreds of years (ProCon). The arguments for women to have the legal right to have the reproductive freedom to decide whether to carry a fetus to full term or not is what many supporters desire in their pursuit of the legalization of abortion. Here are some of the pros listed for legal abortions, safety for the women to obtain a legal abortion, in which then lowers the risk of the mother obtaining an illegal abortion. The pro-choice state that some abortions may alleviate the chance of risky childbirths in which could result in death for the mother and/or the child. Also the fact remains that it is the right of the mother to make the choice, so therefore if she wants an abortion she will make it happen legally or illegally. The pro-choice supporters believe a woman's rights take …show more content…
This is where my stand takes place with the firm belief of that life begins at the moment of conception and many from both groups agree. I lean more to the side of pro-choice simply because of specific reasons. First, I believe it is the woman's right to choose how to care for her body. And for this reason, I left the religious reasoning out of my arguments above. Second, it is a woman's moral decision as to what she will have to live with once the choice is finalized, as is with each person's salvation. Third, circumstances of the conception are reasons for my pro-choice stand, such as in the cases of incest, sexual abuse of mentally impaired women, or with rape victims. The fourth and last issue for me are the cases of fetuses that will not survive a live birth, causing the mother to go through the pain of death after a long pregnancy that the option of abortion could possibly ease somewhat. From a personal standpoint as a mother, I have never had to make this type of decision, and I am so glad I never

pro choice debates there have been many different pros and cons to each side. Some would argue that a huge side of pro life would be having faith that God will do what is right. God is good and everything happens for a reason. The other side of the argument would be to say that although everything happen for a reason, part of life is having a choice and being able to choose the path that you follow. Someone that thinks like this would side with pro choice because they would believe that the person who is pregnant should have a choice as to if she wants to have a baby at that time.…

Pro-choice, pro-life, but back before this there wasn't a choice for abortion at, unless the mother was endangered by the pregnancy. The laws were strict, especially in Texas where our famous “Jane Roe” (which is not her real name), a single woman with a fetus inside her, not an actual child or human, because a fetus cannot live on it's on. The debate is that life begins at the moment of conception, at least in Texas and most places at this time, but scientifically it takes until the end of the 1 trimester to find out the sex of the fetus, but it takes the fetus until the 3rd trimester to be fully formed, besides the growth and then finally there will be a baby. This argument can be seen both ways, but recently it has been extremely…

Pro life versus pro choice has been on of the most debated topics around the world by Christians and non Christians alike. People who have a Christian or pro life worldview take a stance against abortion due to their moral and religious judgments that acknowledge the life and importance of the unborn. Unlike those who are pro life, those who support pro choice believe that an unborn fetus is nothing but cells and that if a woman chooses to terminate her pregnancy than it is moral and she should have the full right to end the pregnancy. . While many believe that the lives of the unborn can be terminated due to financial, health, and family issues, pro life supporters believe that God created each unborn child for a reason and it is immoral for their life to be taken away. Although many people who support pro life might not share a Biblical worldview many base their pro life belief on religious authority and the word of God and the sanctity of the lives that He has created.…

Abortion is one of the most controversial and hotly debated topics of this day and age. The reason for this surrounds the idea of whether the induced expulsion of the fetus is murder or rather in the interest of the mother. Pro-life activists debate that all life in the instant of its conception is innocent and deserves a chance at life. God chooses its time of life and death, not the mother. Pro-choice followers often argue in favor of science and the United States Constitutional Ninth Amendment, which holds freedom of choice sacred.…

Abortion is one of the biggest issues that America has had the pleasure to deal with throughout the past couple of years. Most Americans have fought for or against abortion (pro-life or not pro-life) in many different situations. My own belief would be pro choice not only because every person who is created should have a chance in the world but it is wrong to kill someone unless you have a really good reason. At some points I have had my doubts about being pro choice because in some situations abortion could be your only decision.…

My stance however is Pro-Life or Anti-Abortion, but I look at circumstances individually, and I believe abortion is permissible in certain situations. I believe that abortions are acceptable if the life of the mother or the baby, is at risk. In this situation, either the mother or the fetus could die. The suggestion of abortion is given by the professional opinion of a doctor, but ultimately the mother has the final decision. The mother choses to either live and let her baby die or die and let her baby live.…

Abortion has been a great topic of debate for many years, both in terms of law/rights and in morality/religion. The constant debate has split people into two sides: Pro-Choice and Pro-Life. Those who are Pro-Choice believe that women have a right to decide the fate of their body, health, and life. They personally may not get an abortion, but they feel that it is still the right of the mother to choose. Abortion prevents unsafe pregnancies, protects women 's right to choose, liberates women from patriarchal control over women 's sexual and reproductive lives, and allows the mother to choose whether, when, and how often to have a child.…

Certain people may be pro-choice because they are not given the big picture about what is going to happen to the unborn baby, they may in fact have their innocence taken advantage of, simply because they were not fully informed. There are two main sides to this issue, and that is either the pro-choice side, or the pro-life side. Pro-life is the idea and belief that no matter what development stage a baby is in, it should be allowed to live, whereas pro-choice means that aborting a baby is alright for people to do. After examining the following evidence people may see that pro-life is a better option to pro-choice. The following articles will prove how some people choose to be pro-choice because they don’t even want to listen to the other side, and when morality is brought into the argument, pro-life seems to be the more appealing selection.…

Groups identifying themselves as “pro-choice” defend a woman 's right to have control over her own body. There has been a long existing debate of “Pro-Life” versus “Pro-Choice” about whether or not women should be able to abort a child. Many people being Pro-Choice will use the argument that the fetus isn 't a living person, and rather that it is the woman’s body; therefore the woman’s choice. There are other options women have such as adoption: waiting until the baby is born and providing the child a well-suited family to properly care for them. I believe any way you can avoid aborting a child is better than abortion because you give the child a chance for life. An unborn child in the womb contains all of the characteristics for it to be considered living, proving abortion is morally and scientifically wrong.…
