A pitbull would make a great pet, pitbulls are super loyal and sweet. Pitbulls have been around forever and it would be so sad to see them get banned. Studies show that Pit Bulls are not even in the top five most aggressive dog breed. The most aggressive dog breed is actually a little bitty wiener dog. Although Pit bulls are sometimes bred to kill, they are really fun loving dogs.Many people do not understand that a pit bull is not a breed of dog. In fact, many dog breeds "can" fall under the blanket "pit bull" category. behaviors naturally, they begin abusing and neglecting their dog until it becomes aggressive and violent.

Many people think Pitbulls are more aggressive than other because they are more muscular. Pitbulls are actually one of the strongest dogs and none the less they are also one of the sweetest dogs in my opinion. While Pitbulls are not good guard dogs because they just love people so much, they may intercede if someone threatens “their” humans. Many years ago, pit bulls were considered “Nanny dogs” because of their loyalty and gentleness toward their guardians. They were also once an American favorite, earning the title “America’s dog.”Unfortunately, people soon found ways to exploit pit bulls’ behaviors and tendencies for dog fights, and their strong appearance became a symbol of violence, drug culture and gangs.Today, pitbulls remain largely misunderstood because of irresponsible owners.
