The part that I thought was the most striking was the Death March. The Death March happened because the Nazis thought that the Russians were coming to liberate the people in the camp. Elie and his father were miserable. His father was weak and old. He couldn’t run much longer. But, Elie made sure they were going to stay together no matter what.
