I believe NASCAR exemplified the right attitude in protecting itself during the economic downturn. NASCAR has a strong brand image and loyalty that much of its strategy of co-branding, sponsorships, and partnerships helped to keep them from losing their reputable reputation and fan loyalty. However, much of their improvements can be attributed to a number of factors such as increasing more exciting races to gain more increased viewership (Ferrell & Hartline, 2014).
