Then, the national minimum wage jumps to $15 and your life, along with the lives of thousands of other minimum wage workers changes for the better. Poverty disappears, the standard of living increases, businesses continue to thrive. The choice couldn’t be any simpler - right? On April 15, 2015 thousands of low-wage workers flooded the streets of major cities, including, New York City, Chicago, Seattle, and San Francisco for this very purpose.
