Without migrant workers our restaurants will be closed and your favorite local businesses will be gone. Migrant workers need to be treated in better working conditions and have ensured safety so they are able to go to work without worrying about their safety. Migrant workers do the majority of the work in the food industry so they should not be treated poorly. The treatment they receive causes them to be concerned for their safety at all times. Restaurants and other food businesses are taking advantage of migrant workers. Since the companies take such advantage of the workers, the company tends to treat the workers incredibly unfair. The workers are in need of a job so they take what they can get even if safety is an issue for them.
