Informative Essay On Illegal Immigration

Let us build a wall! All Muslims are terrorist! Illegal immigrants are stealing our jobs! These are all statements that have been circulating around the media. Why such negativity towards Illegal immigrants? What does it really even mean to be an illegal immigrant? In the United States when speaking about Illegal immigration it is usual that the first groups to come up as a discussion are Mexicans. The truth is that Mexicans are not the only illegal immigrants; the United State is built with all types of illegal immigrants from different cultures of people who have migrated from different part of the world. Now a day, immigrants are less welcomed because of Ignorance, terrorism, lack of job opportunity, and racism. The truth is that there is little to no effort on fixing these issues. Instead, the government is trying to find who to blame either the Mexicans or the Muslims. There has been attack over attack starting with the accusation of the president Donald Trump towards Mexicans and then the Muslim ban. These types of accusations just shows how ignorant some people can be. Because Mexicans are not the only illegal immigrants and not all Muslims are terrorist. Instead of making the situation better Trump is cultivating fear, hatred and cutting of recourses such as DACA (deferred Actions for Childhood Arrivals). DACA is an organization that was proposed by the Obama Administration that allowed illegal immigrants who enter as minors and that are seeking for a way of doing things right, such as working legally in the U.S. DACA was put to end by President Trump and was left for congress to save.
