There are always going to be pros and cons to every way a person chooses to educate their child. With public school it allows children to have the same opportunities when it comes to education. Public school also has more opportunities for students outside of education. Schools have sports teams, musical theater, debate teams, and speech teams. With public school it gives children more of a chance to socialize then home schooling does. (THROW OUT) While there are many reasons people choose to home school, there are also different ways to home school a child. One of these ways is called relaxed home schooling, this is the most common type of home schooling. What this means is that the child and parent are allowed to kind of do things the way they want. With this way of teaching it allows the mornings to be more formal school work and the afternoons are used for hobbies or project learning. (Homeschooling Styles - New to Homeschool.com - Homeschool.com - The #1 Homeschooling Community. N.p., n.d. Web. 19 July 2017.) The reason why most people choose this is because the parent feels that what needs to be covered and learned is being taught the right way for their child to learn to their full ability. Relaxed home schooling also gives the parents the freedom of choosing what books, programs, and projects their child gets to learn. (Homeschooling Styles - New to Homeschool.com -
