In light of recent events, the controversial topic of gun control has become the center of many debates—both in politics and at home. Some of the most deadly shootings in the United States have occurred within the last fifteen years, including Virginia Tech, Columbine, and more recently, the Sandy Hook Elementary Shooting. There are strong arguments for both sides of the issue, concerning morals and safety on one side and protection of liberties on the other. So where do gun laws fall in terms of ethics?
