Going to school means not endangering their lives by scavenging. The dumpsites in which these children live in are dirty, damp and dangerous. The children who work there are usually left unattended to scavenge through the disgusting trash where anything could happen to them. Of course you wouldn’t leave your children to be alone in such a dangerous place but sometimes you’re left without a choice, not only are dumpsites a dangerous place for children in the sense of being left alone but for sicknesses and diseases too, but if the children were at school they …show more content…
The main point of an education is getting the knowledge to qualify for a job, getting a job means getting money which will pay for accommodation, food, medicine and other necessities. If these children who usually spend their time scavenging through dirty dangerous trash would spend their time at school getting the education they need they could not only get a job and a proper function life outside of the dumpsite but they could become great people. What if the person who could cure cancer was stuck at a place where they could not get an education?
In conclusion it can be clearly seen that education is important everywhere maybe even more so in these circumstance, as school offers even more to these dumpsite children, a safe place to be, food and a hope to someday leave the dumpsite.
