When I was in elementary and middle school everyone told me that Drugs are bad for you. They would also talk about the destructive effects of drugs and how it could affect your mind, body, and soul. Even today I am still told not to do drugs. But as I began to get older and see numerous people starting to do drugs regardless of what they were told by an authority figure. They would still use the drug even though it is illegal. I could never understand why people would go against the law even if it jeopardize their lives. The drug I am talking about is Marijuana, it is the dried leaves and flowers of the hemp plant that are smoked as a drug. When a person consume a large amount of marijuana it will not cause death but if you consume a large amount of alcohol it will. If a person face a withdrawal form alcohol it can cause a death, but if you have a withdrawal from marijuana it will not.
