Donald Trump, who is the candidate for the 2016 president election of the United States, is an active twitter user. He is well-known for his extreme political opinions such as building a wall between Mexico and the United States, banning foreign Muslims from entering the United States etc. Although his words are always very controversial or maybe even hated by some people, he gains a lot of support throughout his 15-month election campaign. Starting from the day he announced to be the nominee of the Republican party for the president election, Trump has been fighting an uphill battle, beating Ted Cruz or even Hillary Clinton now. The comment he made in his twitter on his opponents is either ironic and critical. He ridiculed his opponent Hillary Clinton’s health condition for being a potential US president, saying that “Hillary Clinton is taking the day off again, she needs the rest. Sleep well Hillary - see you at the debate!”. Sometimes he cited new commentaries that criticize the work and policies Hillary made when she was working in the government. The videos are usually highlights of his rally speech, very short but powerful and encouraging. According to the Techopedia, it says that “Digital identity is an online or networked identity adopted or claimed in cyberspace by an individual.”, which means that digital identity is something that what a person wants other internet users to think of him and what does ones represent. In his case, apparently, Trump wants people to think that he is a leader that has big dreams and expectations to his country. Putting hashtag such as #MakeAmericanGreatAgain is a good evidence of that. Another hashtag always appears in his twitter is #AmericaFirst, meaning that he puts the interest of the US at the first priority. And also, he often posts something that showing respect to the root public servants of the US such as the Law Enforcement Officials and the US Air Force, showing his thanks to the honored team which contributes to the safety of the US. At the same time, he would like everyone to know that he will be a president that would “fight back” against all the opponents of the US, showing that his identity is an extreme self-protective
