In the book “ The Death Cure”, the world is unsafe and the people in it are also unsafe. People take off from the airport without communicating to the main flight tower, fake documents are being made and the people from the government won’t recognize if it is real or not, also there appears to be sick people all over the place and they are highly contagious of spreading the sickness, the Flare virus to people. This essay is about how the world in the book is dangerous and several reasons why it is dangerous.
First off, bergs, which are huge UFOs that the billionaires have in the book which were stolen by the WICKED (World in Catastrophe, Killzone Experiment Department) corporation, are taking off from the ground without communication to the flight tower. Which also takes up everyone’s time if they had to go somewhere important. But nobody in the book can take off in a berg when they need or want to, because they can wreck because another bergs could be landing and they could wreck each other and blow each other up due to miscommunication with the tower and other bergs. As Dashner states on page 92 that, “ They took off just as the door sealed shut and the locks engaged, without communication”(Dashner 92).
