As much as solar seems to be and is a great way of harnessing an inexhaustible resource, there are two sides to each view. One side being that solar is a clean energy with out potential destruction to the natural environment and habitats. And the other that, even though it is clean and realistically free, it leaves an imprint. We are and will be destroying habitat for many of creatures and in hindsight polluting the very place we seem to be ‘cleaning up’. Is the environmental cost really worth the production cost? Digging up hard to recycle heavy metals to produce solar panels and using fossil fuel to do so. My interest stems back to ill-education of the pushers for solar energy who are only into the, so called, booming market for quick money and the gloating of working for environmentally friendly companies before doing their own homework on the issue. I personally side with the production for solar energy, due to the fact that it is a clean and renewable source, but I’m here to learn more and hopefully educate myself to the point where we as a people can create better ways of obtaining material and/or what we use to control solar …show more content…
This is something that is happening now and will be, even if many people choose to ignore it, a great turbulence in our lifetime. I can not do this on my own and I don 't have to the time to sit back and wait for the moment I can say, hey, I told you so. We need to educate people on these topics, we need to invest and research as much as we can and pick the least destructive paths. We have the option of picking our means of fixing the earth, so why do we remain silent and choose whatever sounds the best? Wake up and lets address these issues head
