Did you know that, a kid in Somalia entered a child soldier group to protect himself from bullies, now the kid smokes and uses drugs and does not even remember about his family. Therefore, he now is one of the toughest kids in the area and the organization which recruited does not let him leave.Child soldiers are soldiers, which fight on combat between gangs or countries and they are forced to join. Mostly all end up dead or without one leg, for example a kid in Somalia was shot with an RPG in mid conflict and so,he needed to do stitches. Three important things to know about child soldiers include why do children want to fight, some roles of the child soldiers, and what being a child soldier is like. One thing to know about child soldiers is how many child soldiers exist around the world. According to the Human Rights (American Bar Association) there are around 300,000 active child soldiers today. Therefore, this number of child soldiers should decrease 100% and we need to help them shut this issue down. According to the New York Times child `soldiers are one fourth to one sixth of Curitiba's population and the population in 2015 was close to 2,000,000 people which means many child soldiers are in danger and we need to stop them from getting in danger. According to the Human Rights (American Bar Association) child soldiers are used as human bombs, spies, and messengers. Those are jobs that would most likely cost their soldier lives. According to the Human Rights ( American Bar Association) they give the most dangerous jobs to child soldiers because they cannot risk their precious soldiers' lives. The least dangerous jobs are being guards, porters, cooks, and domestic servants. Some child soldiers do these jobs because it is less dangerous. These children need saviors and so we need to help each other to rescue
