What is your opinion on the existence of cell phones in schools? Cell phones have been banned in twenty-four percent of K-12 schools and the other sixty-two percent allow them on school grounds, but ban them in the classroom. There are many pros and cons when it comes to cell phones in schools. After I read the two articles "Revisiting Cell Phone Bans in School ' ' and "Cell Phones Should not be Allowed in School ' ' I think some of the points in the second article are invalid. Students would get in trouble and get their cell phone taken if they weren 't using them for educational purposes.

Cell phones should be permitted in schools. They are very helpful with work and could be used to prepare for tests. All teachers want their students to do well on testing, and if cell phones are helping with

However, Texting wouldn’t happen if the students were warned their phones would get taken up. Texting is also something important if something changes or an emergency happens. Sexting is a very invalid argument in my opinion. What student does that in class? Obviously the teacher is going to see that and there is no possibility that a student would be able to do that without anyone seeing them. Sexting is also a problem that parents should make sure their child isn 't doing. That shouldn 't be a problem for school and in my opinion shouldn 't be a problem at all. It shouldn 't happen. Bullying is a huge problem during school and happens daily not just on cell phones. Most fights during school happen because of verbal bullying. Cheating happens everyday and most of the time not with the use of a cell phone. Cheating could be done by writing on desks and it 's not like they can ban desks and pencils too because they 're necessities for
