Exercise Helps People Lose Weight

Statistics show that a little over fifty percent of Americans exercise for at least thirty minutes, two to three times a week. These exercises can be anything from lifting weights to taking a walk around the block. You may think it is crazy that these people take the time out of their day to take apart in physical activity, but in reality these people are making an amazing life decision. Some of the benefits of exercising on a regular basis include helping you watch your weight, putting you in a better mood, and overall helping you live a longer, healthier life. It’s a known fact that sitting on the couch eating Lean Cuisines and drinking water is not going to help you get any skinnier. Those “get slim quick” schemes are nothing but lies. …show more content…
Mr. Fogle had always been overweight as a child, and going into college he weighed over 400 pounds. It was during this time he decided it was time to lose some weight. Along with eating right, Jared also took time out of his busy day to exercise. He would go on a daily run, and he would also do many other aerobic exercises throughout his week. He stayed dedicated to his goals and eventually he lost over 200 pounds. Now he weighs 190 pounds. Some people look at exercise as too much work, or just simply can’t find the time in the day to take apart in physical activity. Next you have your people who go through health phases; where exercising is only appealing when it best suits them. Then you have your people who are dedicated and are taking part in some form of physical activity every day. You may be the kind of person who thinks of these people as crazy health fanatics. No matter what category you fall under, this does not change the fact that exercise helps you watch your weight, can put you in a better mood, and will help you live a longer, healthier life.
