In this article Kelly Wallace discusses why it seems the sight of a mother publically breastfeeding still makes so many people squeamish and uncomfortable. She interviews several mothers, bloggers, and discusses many news articles that have been written in 2014 about the attention public breastfeeding has gained. She also discusses the many cases of celebrities bringing attention to the issue via their own social media posts, writings and interviews. Kelly Wallace is a digital correspondent for CNN as well as a mother of two girls. She is using her passion for her children and parenting as a career path focusing on women’s issues, interviewing newsmakers to include First Lady Michelle Obama. As a mother she can relate to the concerns women have about breastfeeding in public. This article will be used in the research paper because it covers multiple women and their experiences and brings to light multiple current and relevant events relating to the topic.

La Leche League is a highly reputable source when it comes to breastfeeding. They assist mothers in a variety of ways with breastfeeding. Educationally, physically, emotionally or financially La Leche League hosts a variety of resources available to all women when on the breastfeeding journey. In this article the author discusses cultural attitudes, preparation for breastfeeding, topics and suggestions as to what to do when out and about while breastfeeding. It also references breastfeeding and the law in the US, Canada and Scottland.
