Exam Question: Are we free?
Background:
As citizens of the United States we like to believe that we are free individuals, but are we truly free. I personally don’t believe this to be true. As Citizens and residents of the United States we have certain rights given to us by the federal government and also the local government, though laws and regulations. Other major impacts of our freedom included Economic freedom and also Educational freedom.

Education: In class we were asked several questions regarding our future profession and the type of education we would have liked to receive. When asked about Grad school most of the class responded with that they would like to continue their education and attend Grad school. When asked about what they would like to study, many class members said that they would have liked to study a subject related to performing arts. If we are so free why aren’t we studying and perusing the careers, we want to? I for one like learning about and working on cars, it fascinates me how every little bolt, place piece and wire is just a piece until its put together, and allows an individual or family to travel long distances. But I also like music and playing the clarinet. Why don’t I study what I love? Why is it that I’m in college and neither of my siblings are? What made me choose a different career than the one I wanted and the one of my brothers choose, were my interactions with my family and
