Improved Essays
Are Aliens Real? Everyone knows what aliens are but nobody has proof of them. Scientists have been discovering and studying Mars and to see what’s on the planets. They believe that their was once living things on the planet, such as aliens. Scientists have found water on Mars that they think aliens could have used to stay alive. Even though there might have been evidence of living things on Mars, aliens could not possibly be real. A lot of people believe in aliens but that does not mean that aliens are real because scientists have not yet found proof of them. Even though there is proof of water on mars, scientists have not yet found aliens. Scientists even said that they “did not discover any little green men or other alien life forms” (Upright).

While the idea of somebody being in a position for as long as they choose seem fairly preposterous, it does have some merit and some legal foundations in the very document we hail as sacred.…

For my service project I chose to conduct an interview with someone who practices a faith different from mine so I interviewed a Mormon. Some might consider Mormonism to be part of the Christian faith, but I would readily argue that it has differences that are substantial and irrefutable. I had always wondered about the beliefs of the people who spend their youth in ties knocking on doors and several movies made the differences seem pretty extreme. I began to wonder what it is that they really believe and how they can make it make sense in the world that we live in.…

As of the 21st century, it is no longer controversial to believe in the existence of extraterrestrial life. While in the 16th century, a belief that life existed beyond Earth and its atmosphere may have led to a public execution (like it did for astronomer, Giordano Bruno), the same belief is held by 54% of Americans today. Given the evidence gathered through advanced space exploration and technology, the scientific community, as well as the general population, is more inclined to believe in extraterrestrial life. However, something that is more debatable, is the existence of intelligent extraterrestrial life.…
