Many people have a strong belief that during the ancient era, aliens walked the Earth. Although it may just be a theory, the question of if aliens were on among our ancient ancestors has been debated for centuries and still left unanswered. This belief is known as the ancient astronaut theory (AboveTopSecret). Janelly Rios Writing Assignment #1 Throughout my years in school, I have learned about the many theories of our creation; theories including the Genesis and the Big Bang Theory. However, I was impressed of the way native people view their creation. Like artist Nora Naranjo-Morse, native people believed that their people came out of the ground, hence their strong connection with the Earth. They disagreed with the Bering Strait theory, which stated that people migrated to the Americas when the continents were connected.…

The thought of aliens existing is such a controversial and thought-filled topic that could be discussed for hours on end, however there is no doubt in my mind that the possibility of extraterrestrial life living and thriving out in the vacuum of space is a reality we must take seriously. Because of the fact that habitable planets are able to sustain human and other organismal lives, that there’s photographic, artefactual and DNA evidence of their existence, that our universe is so massive and abundant, and that we ourselves are considered aliens, my stance on alien existence won’t budge one bit. So, after reading this hopefully insightful attempt at a persuasion essay, I want you to ask yourself one last time. Are we truly…

As of the 21st century, it is no longer controversial to believe in the existence of extraterrestrial life. While in the 16th century, a belief that life existed beyond Earth and its atmosphere may have led to a public execution (like it did for astronomer, Giordano Bruno), the same belief is held by 54% of Americans today. Given the evidence gathered through advanced space exploration and technology, the scientific community, as well as the general population, is more inclined to believe in extraterrestrial life. However, something that is more debatable, is the existence of intelligent extraterrestrial life.…

If aliens do indeed exist they haven’t given us a formal introduction, but I do believe they have made their existence known in other ways. When humans first discover a new creature they observe, run test, and analyze. We are smart enough to do all these things, it is how we survive and learn. So why wouldn’t aliens do that with us?…
