For some people, they will spend more money after signing up for the ACA than what they spent on their old plan. The upfront cost of being part of the ACA is more expensive that other plans that are available. If a person chooses not to sign up and be a member of the ACA then he/she will be fined. Even if you are not a member you still lose money. Some families can’t afford to be a member of the ACA. Some people will spend more money just to be a part than with their old plan. That doesn’t sound very affordable. Neither does the fine. It is also said by many head people in the plan that the cost of health care may increase over the years as the ACA is here. Pharmaceutical companies will have to pay about another $84.8 billion in fees over the next ten years to close the Medicare part D. The answer to both questions “Is the ACA really affordable?” and “do you spend more money with the ACA?” can both be answered with yes. It is clear that to answer those questions a person must look deep into the ACA and learn about the options and prices and see if the coverage you receive is worth the cost. This is good because if something was to happen to an employee, his or hers family and loved ones wouldn’t be left without any support. This has happened before and there are people out there that know the struggle. Having our men and women on the work force covered by the ACA is very helpful. The only problem with this rule is how some of the employers react and do to avoid providing health care to workers. Many employers don’t mind giving their employees’ health care benefits. For some business owners, the rule is not of their liking. In result of this rule, there has been employees that have been fired or laid off so the employer can avoid providing health care. There are now people out there without jobs or health care. When employees are fired, that means that the remaining workers have more work to do. With more work being on employees hands, accidents can happen. The quality of the work can go down do to being pressed for time. Workers can become more tired and more unaware of their surroundings, causing them to get injured or injure other workers. With less workers though, this may mean a raise in pay for the remaining workers. A raise in pay means more money and happiness in the home life which is what we want for our workers.
