There are more than four million children in the United States with a diagnosis of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, or ADHD (Carey, 2016) who need to be medicated, but medication doesn't help, these kids can use different ways to treat their ADHD. Kids with ADHD aren't just immature. To be diagnosed with ADHD they must clearly be outside of range with other kids their age. They must seriously impaired these kids who are distressed, not because of bad parenting or poor teaching but because their brains work differently than other children. Kids with ADHD brains develops about 3 years later than kids without ADHD. (Karidis, 2015).
