When a leader is given absolute power, it gives them the capability to lead however they wish. Sometimes this leader can lead their nation to prosperity. However, it further gives them the unadulterated potential to do whatever unlawful things they want to commit. Who would stop them? In conclusion, absolute power corrupts a nation by trickling down through the ranks of people, corruption spreading like a disease.
